About the Cursive Font Generator

We build free, privacy-first text tools that help creators, marketers, and designers make their content stand out — no accounts, no tracking of your text, no cost.

Who we are

Cursive Font Generator is an independent typography project dedicated to one thing: making stylish text genuinely easy to create and use. What started as a single cursive converter has grown into a full suite of free Unicode text tools — covering cursive, bold, glitch, small text, and Instagram fonts — alongside a library of practical guides on using stylish text well.

Everything we publish is grounded in how text encoding actually works, not guesswork. We verify every character mapping against the official Unicode standard and test our output across iPhone, Android, Windows, and macOS so that what you copy is what your audience sees.

What we do

The Cursive Font Generator is a free, browser-based tool that converts normal text into 100+ Unicode-based cursive and stylish font styles for instant copy-and-paste use. It works on Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Reddit, YouTube, and any platform that supports Unicode text. Beyond the tools, we write in-depth, no-fluff guides — on font pairing, choosing the right cursive style, and the differences between cursive, script and handwriting fonts.

How it works

Our tool is a client-side Unicode mapper. When you type, it maps each Latin letter to a visually cursive Unicode character defined in the global Unicode standard. Because these are standard characters — not an installed font file — they display correctly across iPhone, Android, Windows, and macOS without any download. If you want the full explanation, our guide on how Unicode text works (and whether generators are safe) breaks it down in plain language.

Our expertise & experience

The site is run by typography and Unicode specialists who work with web fonts, character encoding, and social-media formatting every day. Every style in our generators is built from verified Unicode code points — we never fabricate or guess a mapping. Where a letter has no Unicode equivalent, we say so rather than substituting a character that breaks on some devices. That hands-on, test-everything approach is what keeps our output reliable across the platforms people actually use.

Our editorial standards

Every guide on this site follows the same process before it is published:

  • Accuracy first. Technical claims about Unicode, device support, and platform behaviour are verified against primary sources and real-device testing.
  • Written and reviewed by a named editor. Articles carry a real byline — you always know who stands behind the advice.
  • Kept up to date. Each article shows a published and last-updated date, and we revise guides as platforms change how they render text.
  • No hype, no fake numbers. We don't invent statistics or promise results we can't back up. If something has a limitation, we tell you.

Our privacy commitment

All text conversion happens entirely in your browser. We do not send your text to any server, store what you type, or require a login. There are no accounts, no paywalls, and no tracking of the content you generate. The tool is free to use with no limits. For the full details, see our privacy policy.

Why you can trust us

We're transparent about who we are, how the tools work, and what they do and don't do. The site is maintained by a real, named editor; every claim is testable; and your data never leaves your device. If you ever spot something inaccurate or have a question, we want to hear it — reach us any time through our contact page, and follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Quora.
